Remote and hybrid working has moved from being a rare perk to a mainstream way of organising work. Many teams now split their time between home and the workplace, and some are fully distributed across different locations, towns or even time zones. For the people you lead, this can bring real benefits — flexibility, focus, less commuting and a better work-life balance. But it also changes the job of the manager profoundly. The instincts that worked when everyone sat in the same room no longer apply when half your people are at home. Leading well at a distance is a distinct skill, and it has to be learned.

This course is a practical, behaviour-focused guide for managers, team leaders and supervisors who lead remote or hybrid teams. It is the companion to the employee-facing remote-working course and concentrates on what you, as a leader, need to do differently.
